About
Healing winds its way forward, rarely in a straight line.
Hi, I’m Jenna.
My Journey began many years ago beneath the Pennsylvania pines where I would spend hours and hours in the woods making “medicines” and burying my feet in the dirt. I consider this an important basis of who I am today because it’s what I’ve always come back to as a source of guidance and truth through many years of mental and physical health struggles that I’ve experienced with loved ones, and with myself.
Starting at the age of 16, less than a year after experiencing the great loss of a parent due to addiction and chronic pain (you can read more about this in my blog), moderate to severe health challenges began to manifest in my body. Lyme disease and multiple co-infections, IBS & chronic digestive disorders, heart problems, kidney problems, depression, anxiety, disordered eating, fungal issues, migraines, and severe food allergies. Because I was exposed to addiction, chronic pain, and mental illness at a very young age, it became clear to me early on that mental and physical health were not two separate things. When I began to experience illness myself, I was determined to use myself like my own lab rat and test this theory that the two did not function separately. There had to be a way forward, I could feel it in my bones. I went on to study Theology at the college level; leading me to spend my entire young adult life exploring the mind-body connection, spirituality, consciousness, and physical health, to apply some sort of context to this loss and to my own physical suffering. Over the last 16 years I have journeyed on every road imaginable to make my symptoms go away and to find something that would heal me. Every protocol, detox, diet, and lifestyle change you can think of — I have done them more than once!
It wasn’t until I found The BodyTalk System of Healthcare that I was able to scientifically support my own anecdotal experiences. I was in fact, right. BodyTalk bridges the gap between science and spirit, mind and body, and between mental and physical health. It’s consciousness based healthcare.
What I’ve found is that true health is not achieved from the outside. It’s not achieved from all the supplements, detoxes, diets and remedies. It started with me, with listening to my bodies own wisdom. When I started evaluating the deeper meaning of my symptoms, and observing myself and my struggles with compassion and potential, everything began to change. Instead of trying to make my symptoms go away because they made me nervous, as if there were something inherently wrong with me - I practiced radical acceptance of everything I had experienced and felt on all levels, and my symptoms began to dissipate.
There was nothing to be fixed. Only revealed.
I’ve come full circle — back to making medicines and burying my feet in the dirt — but now, it’s out of reverence for these plants as my allies, not as my saviors.
Today, I am free of chronic illness. I’m happier, healthier, and more full of life than ever — and I’m certain it only gets better from here. This is my medicine, and I’d love to share it with you.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
